As for voting, some communities may offer an advance polling at their municipal office from 12 pm to 8 p.m on Nov, 4.

On Nov. 7, polling stations will be open at municipal offices from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To vote, you must be 18 years old or older on Nov. 6,  living in the community since Nov. 6, 2011 and a Canadian citizen, Your name must also appear on the electoral list

Corporations, commercial partnerships and associations which have head office or principal place of business in the municipality since Nov. 6, 2011 are also eligible to vote through a representative authorized by a resolution — but they would have had to deposit a copy of that with their municipality on or before Oct. 1.
