A three-day meeting of Baffin region mayors, held at Iqaluit’s Anglican Parish Hall, got underway March 21 and is set to wrap up March 23. Qikiqtani mayors heard presentations from groups like the Municipal Training Organization, companies like First Air and Northwestel, and six Government of Nunavut cabinet members, including Premier Peter Taptuna.
