Iqaluit's pothole season gets a kick-start as snow melts March 21 in Iqaluit, where the day's high reached 1.4 C. That temperature is more than 17 degrees higher than the normal -17.7 C level for March 21 in Iqaluit. The high of 1.4 C broke the previous record of 0.6 C set March 21, 1955.
