Leona Aglukkaq, the incumbent MP for Nunavut, casts her vote just after 11 a.m. Oct. 19 after standing in line at the Iqaluit Cadet Hall polling station. Polls opened in Canada's 42nd general election at 9:30 a.m. within the eastern time zone, and by about 10:15 a.m., a long line of voters were queuing up outside the polling station in Iqaluit.
