Photo: Looking forward to spring already?

As 2014 winds down today and a new year begins, we look back over good times and look forward to a new year as well. This photo of Igloolik’s Leonie Qrunnut was taken during Igloolik’s popular spring fishing derby held north of the Melville Peninsula and was recently uploaded to Inuit Hunting Stories of the Day, a popular Facebook page that celebrates Inuit culture on the land.
