Clyde River children and youth take part in a summer camp offered through a partnership between local Clyde River non-profit Ilisaqsivik Society and Actua, a southern-based non-profit that specializes in camps on STEM subjects: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This is the third time Actua has helped local teachers offer camps in Clyde and this year, from Aug. 17 to Aug. 21, 30 kids participated. The camp's goal is to make these sometimes challenging subjects fun and engaging for kids and by all accounts, they succeeded this year. (PHOTO COURTESY OF ILISAQSIVIK)
