Yoga in Iqaluit
Kerry Lawson is in Iqaluit to teach yoga until Nov. 11.

Tonight, she’ll teach a beginner basic Hatha Yoga class at the elders’ centre from 6 to 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Nov. 2, she’ll teach an advanced version of Hatha Yoga from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Both classes cost $8.

On Friday, Nov. 4 she’ll host an intermediate Vinyasa Flow Class from 6 to 8 p.m. for $10. On Saturday, Nov. 5, she hosts an all-day workshop on “The Lifestyle of Yoga” for $60.

An evening of classical music
Sunday, Oct. 30. A special evening of classical music featuring the Iqaluit Community Choir, the Inuksuk High School Choir, the Band & Jazz Ensemble, the Iqaluit Community Orchestra, Fiddle & String Ensembles and special guests, “From Paris to Kyiv,” an international group that combines ancient Ukrainian music with contemporary sounds.
