Long-time Makivvik lawyer heads to the Quebec housing corp.
Jean-François Arteau becomes the provincial housing corp.’s vice-president

On May 2 Quebec’s cabinet named lawyer Jean-François Arteau, who until April served as the executive assistant to the president of Makivvik Corp., as vice-president of the Société d’habitation du Québec.
Before serving as as legal counsel and executive assistant at Makivik, Arteau worked for the Kativik Regional Government.
The SHQ is the main body of the Quebec government responsible for social housing in Quebec and in Nunavik through the Kativik Municipal Housing Bureau.
