Makivvik seeks nominations for corporate secretary, VP

Makivvik Corp. is seeking nominations for two positions on its executive, which are up for election in January 2013.

The nomination period for the positions of corporate secretary and vice-president, responsible for economic development, opened on Nov. 2 and closes Dec. 3.

Andy Moorhouse is Makivvik’s current corporate secretary, while Michael Gordon is its vice-president, responsible for economic development.

Nomination forms are available at Landholding Corporation and municipal offices in Nunavik communities or from {encode=”pbentley@makivik.org” title=”Phebe Bentley”}, the chief returning officer, at the Makivvik Corp. office in Montreal.

The election to fill the two positions will be held Jan. 17, 2013.
