Photo: A little competition, and a lot of spirit, at western spring festival

Staffers with the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Community and Government Services suit up for this year’s corporate challenge, a popular series of events that unfold during the Omingmak Frolics, Cambridge Bay’s annual spring festival. The festival, which runs until until May 23, includes a wide roster of indoor and outdoor events for Nunavummiut of all ages from snowmobile races to ice carving, dances, scavenger hunts, fishing derbies and hockey games.
