After Dec. 10, Iqaluit residents will have to hike all the way out to building 1091 to receive public health services. Building 155 in Iqaluit, which for decades served as a community public health centre, now lies empty and unused. The Iqaluit Public Health and Family Practice will close Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 to prepare for the move. Public health services, including flu shots, tuberculosis programs, sexual health clinics, well child appointments, and nurse practitioner appointments will resume Dec. 10 at building 1091.
