Speak up! Reach out, reads this girl's sign. Puvirnituq youth took part in a Walk for Love and Respect April 28 in the Nunavik community. The event, coordinated by Nunavik's Pivallianiq program, gathered youth from both Iguarsivik and Ikaarvik schools, community organizations and leaders. Organizers said the walk was to demonstrate that the community is stronger when its members come together to show a united front against issues like bullying, abuse and suicide.
