Not even a grimace: Health Minister Monica Ell receives her influenza vaccine at the legislative assembly in Iqaluit Nov. 4. Flu shots are now available in all Nunavut health centres, free of charge, including nasal mist vaccines for children and youth, aged two to 17, Ell said during her minister's statement. Influenza poses the greatest risk to the elderly and very young, the minister added, and a flu shot is the best way to protect yourself. There are currently enough vaccines in Nunavut to inoculate about half of the territory's population. (PHOTO BY THOMAS ROHNER)
