Photo: Iqaluit film selected to premiere at Toronto International Film Festival

The Iqaluit-produced short film Kajutaijuq: The Spirit That Comes has been selected to premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, as part of its Short Cuts Canada program. The folk tale thriller, produced by Scott Brachmayer, Nyla Innuksuk and Ellen Hamilton, follows a hunter, played by Johnny Issaluk, as he attempts to live a traditional Inuit lifestyle passed on to him by his grandfather.
