Kativik Ilisarniliriniq and Frontier College are offering literacy camps again this summer for school-age children in 12 communities: Kuujjuarapik, Umiujaq, Inukjuak, Puvirnituq, Ivujivik, Salluit, Kangiqsujuaq, Quaqtaq, Kangirsuk, Aupaluk, Tasiujaq and Kuujjuaq, starting July 9. The camps are designed to promote literacy in Inuktitut, English and French and help students ages 5-12 maintain the skills they learned during the school year.
