Kativik Ilisarniliriniq's department of Adult Education is offering free linocut print-making workshops in Kuujjuaq from now until Dec. 15 with instructor Lyne Bastien. Linocut printmaking was first introduced to Nunavik in Puvirnituq by the co-op movement and this workshop is intended to revive the art form. Kuujjuamiut aged 16 and up can join in at the Northern Village office any week day from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. or on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact adulteducation@kativik.qc.ca or call 514-482-8220, xt. 355.
