Audla warned that Inuit are often caught in a “distressing bind” rooted in well-intentioned but misinformed Arctic environmental campaigns. He urged climate change researchers to respect the constitutionally-protected co-management regimes that Inuit have negotiated and to respect the Inuit desire to become full partners in Arctic research.
