Photo: Norwegians return to CamBay for Maud

A stone cairn built by Norwegians eager to see the Maud, the ship once sailed by their polar hero Roald Amundsen, back in Norway, now stands on the shore outside the town of Cambridge Bay. In the distance you can see the Maud, frozen where it sank at its mooring in 1930.
