Photo: Nunavut coroner’s office prepares for two-week inquest into suicide

Nunavut's chief coroner, Padma Suramala (far left), her legal counsel, Sheldon Toner, and Northwest Territories coroner Garth Eggenberger at a press conference in Iqaluit Sept. 10 ahead of a two-week inquest into Nunavut's high suicide rates that's set to begin Sept. 14. Eggenberger will preside over the inquest, which will include testimony from two families affected by suicide, as well as witnesses from government departments and organizations involved in suicide prevention work.
