Photo: Nunavut government raises money for Typhoon Haiyan relief

Nunavut’s outgoing Premier Eva Aariak, centre, behind cheque, and incoming Premier Peter Taptuna, right, announced a territorial government contribution of $25,000 in relief for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, Nov. 18, at a gathering with members of Iqaluit’s Filipino community in the Legislative Assembly.
