Photo: Ottawa youth conference draws teens from Cambridge Bay

Alysha Maksagak, left, and Danielle Omilgoetok, two Cambridge Bay Grade 10 students, are off to Ottawa Feb. 1 for a youth leadership conference called Encounters with Canada. The program holds week-long conferences throughout the school year and each week has a different theme. Maksagak and Omilgoetok will be attending one on arts and culture which will be filled with activities including a field trip to the National Gallery of Canada. Read more later on nunatsiaqonline.ca.
