Photo: Iqaluit snapshot heading for immortality… on a stamp

A photo of a 2012 sundog above Iqaluit will be stuck to your envelopes soon enough. Photographer Frank Reardon snapped this photo outside his house and sent it into The Weather Network one December day. Three years later, it's on stamp. “I was just amazed. I was shocked when Canada Post contacted me and told me they want to put my photo on a stamp. At first I thought it was a joke,” Reardon told Nunatsiaq News.
