The Toronto Zoo’s male polar bear cub, born last November, is still without a name. The zoo has recently launched a contest so the public can help. Of the six names the zoo has put forward, one of them is Searik, which zoo officials say is Inuktitut for “beautiful.” But some Inuit say they’ve never heard the word.
