The cast of Slap Shot? Nope. The staff at Cambridge Bay’s Nunavut Impact Review Board office are decked out May 11 in their stop-Government of Nunavut hockey jerseys for Day One of the Omingmak Frolics Corporate Challenge. Now in its 40th year, Cambridge Bay’s spring festival started May 8 and wraps up May 16. In between, there’s a packed schedule of activities including a fishing derby, snowmobile races, hockey, traditional sports, feasts and entertainment.
