“When is that review and when are we going to hear about it?” That’s the question Nunavut Health Minister Pat Angnakak put to Nellie Cournoyea, acting chair of the Nutrition North Advisory Board, on Friday, Feb. 2 during a panel discussion on northern food security held at the Northern Lights business and cultural showcase in Ottawa. Angnakak wanted to know when Nunavummiut will see revisions to the federal program that subsidizes food items. In short, Cournoyea said she can’t say. “We know what the options are,” she said.
