Arctic Institute releases human development report

The Arctic Human Development Report is now online at: www.svs.is/AHDR.

Copies of the full report (243 pages with graphics and photographs) are available for $28 US (plus postage) and can be ordered from the Stefansson Arctic Institute, Borgir v/Nordurslod, 600 Akureyri, Iceland, or by emailing larao@unak.is.

The Arctic Human Development Report is the first comprehensive assessment of human well-being covering the entire Arctic region.

Based on contributions from some 90 scientists located in all the member nations of the Arctic Council, the report offers an assessment of achievements and challenges relating to human development in the Arctic.
