The Government of Nunavut’s Department of Environment is seeking the public’s input on the Kugluk Territorial Park Permafrost Project.

That project has involved investigating how the permafrost is thawing in the park and addressing the consequences, such as the ATV route becoming unstable.

A news release says that all Kugluktuk residents are welcome to attend a meeting that will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Milukshuk building (old radio station).
