Same services, different location
The Kuujjuaq Service Canada Centre has moved its new offices at 5207 Route de l’Aéroport.
Its new 248 square metre- office is better equipped to accommodate the officials of federal departments and agencies who travel to Nunavik to conduct business, said Adamie Alaku, the SCC director in Kuujjuaq.
The new office’s layout also corresponds to Service Canada standards, a news release said.
Kuujjuaq’s SCC is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The SCC provides information about federal programs and services, assistance with navigating the internet and help with electronic transactions.
Its agents also distribute government publications and forms, validate documents, provide identity authentication services and arrange referrals to specialists in other federal departments.
