Support for Iqaluit-based heritage building

Council agreed to throw its support behind a proposal to build a museum/heritage building in the capital city.

Council will express its approval of the proposal in a letter to Peter Kilabuk, the minister of culture, language, elders and youth.

CLEY has recognized a future need for such a building to house artifacts currently stored in the Northwest Territories, and has suggested that it be located in Iqaluit.
