Feeling cool? There's been some extreme cold settled over northern Canada these last couple of days. That includes new daily record lows set on Monday, Feb. 5 in Kugaaruk with -50.7 C and in Gjoa Haven with -43.7 C, as this map from Dalhousie University weather watcher Patrick Duplessis shows. Today, Environment Canada issued extreme cold warnings for Cambridge Bay, Baker Lake, Arviat, Taloyoak, Gjoa Haven, Kugaaruk, Rankin Inlet, Whale Cove, Chesterfield Inlet, Coral Harbour, Sanikiluaq, Arctic Bay, Pond Inlet and Resolute Bay.
