Photo: Sailing into Arctic Bay

The first visiting sailing vessel of the season pulls into Arctic Bay July 28. The SV Nomad, captained by Austrian couple Doris Renoldner and Wolfgang Slanec, has sailed the world for three years now. The couple spent the weekend exploring the north Baffin community before heading back into the Northwest Passage on their way to Cambridge Bay. (PHOTO BY CLARE KINES)
