RCMP investigating vehicle fire in Iqaluit

Iqaluit firefighters responded to a car fire Tuesday at about 3:40 p.m. behind building 234. It took about 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze and in an email City of Iqaluit spokesperson Aleksey Cameron said “the scene has been handed over to the RCMP for further investigation.” There was no information immediately on the cause of the fire or the make of the vehicle, which was destroyed in the fire.
