Photo: Nunavut nursing student picks up prestigious award
Rebecca Fada, left, of Iqaluit, is the first Nunavut Arctic College recipient of the prestigious Student Graduate Award for academic and clinical excellence, presented to her this week by Jennifer Pearce of the Registered Nurses Association of Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Since 2000, NAC’s nursing program has operated in collaboration with Dalhousie University. “Rebecca has been an exceptional student from the beginning of the program,” NAC said in a statement. “Rebecca is a true advocate for nursing excellence right from grassroots advocacy plus holding high academic and clinical distinction in the Nunavut Arctic Nursing program.” (PHOTO COURTESY OF NAC)
