It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas in Kuujjuaq, where the Northern Village has flown in and set up its holiday tree. Every year, the Nunavik community brings in a spruce tree by helicopter, set up next to its municipal offices. The tree doesn’t look Christmasy quite yet though; Kuujjuamiut are invited to attend the official tree lighting ceremony Dec. 4 at 4:00 p.m. (PHOTO BY SARAH ROGERS)
