Pond Inlet RCMP have charged a 55-year-old man with the unlawful sale of alcohol after executing a search warrant on April 30.

Officers seized alcohol, alcohol-based cleaners and cash, RCMP announced Thursday in a news release.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Nunavut Court of Justice on July 21 in Pond Inlet.

The Pond Inlet RCMP encourages anyone with information about the illegal sale of alcohol to contact them at 867-899-0123 or by leaving a an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
