Iqalummiut fill out online survey on racism

    Good to see the black residents of Iqaluit given an opportunity to share their experiences with racism in Nunavut. Few groups are treated so poorly and with such open hostility anf racism by Inuit as them.

    If there are results published, I would like to see how many respondents replied and what background they have. If this an opportunity for one culture to respond, it will not reflect on the city itself. How many inuit responded? If there were one survey for Inuit, im sure there would be alot of respondents. I am an NLCA beneficiary, I am culturally sensitive, but I have had “condescending comments” in my direction from some races. This survey should be allowed to be completed by everyone. Even if you don’t have a phone. The photo attached to the story may be misleading…as there are no Inuit in the picture….
