Police seek help in Iqaluit hit-and-run
Police say a white vehicle banged up a black pick-up truck — and left the scene
Police are looking for the driver of a white vehicle in Iqaluit.
And they’re asking the public to provide more information about a hit-and-run incident that occurred on May 1 in Iqaluit, said a May 4 news release from the RCMP.
Between 12:15 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., a black F250 crew cab pick-up truck was parked in front of Tim Horton’s at Northmart.
While parked, a white vehicle pulled in beside the black pick-up truck and later left — but police say that before this white vehicle left, it struck the pickup truck on the driver’s side causing it extensive damage.
