Photo: Vandal trashes Inuksuk High School

Happy Easter. Somebody wreaked havoc inside Inuksuk High School this past weekend, causing extensive damage. Police say the damage was “substantial” and that they’ve laid charges against a 23-year-old Iqaluit man. The investigating RCMP officer is off shift until this Friday and most school officials appear to be on vacation. The Department of Community and Government Services says they’re trying to get the school ready for use by April 12, when students are scheduled to head back to class. (PHOTO BY GABRIEL ZÁRATE)
