Arctic cotton, or pualunnguat in Inuktitut, blows in the breeze along Iqaluit’s Road to Nowhere. The cotton-like plant is dried and rolled with seal fat so it can be used as a wick for a qulliq or oil lamp. (PHOTO BY SARAH ROGERS)
