Police in Edmonton hope someone can will recognize this hoodie and help identify the woman found deceased in a city golf course last month.
Police in Edmonton believe the body of an unidentified woman they discovered last month may be that of an Inuit woman.
Police are asking the public to help them identify this woman, whose body was found at the city’s Riverside golf course March 31.
Edmonton police released photographs of two hooded sweatshirts, in the hope that someone might know the wearer’s identity.
One sweatshirt is dark blue with white designs on the front and sleeves. The other sweatshirt is green with a design on the front.
An autopsy failed to pinpoint a cause of death and police are treating the case as suspicious.
Homicide detectives have said the facial features of the woman “might be consistent with that of Aboriginal or possibly Inuit heritage.”
The deceased woman is believed to be in her 20s, 5’5” tall, weighing 120 pounds with short, straight black hair and brown eyes.
The woman does not appear to have been a homeless person, police say.
