17-year-old may be tried as an adult
A judge will decide if the 17-year-old boy accused in the beating death of Davidee Nowdlak will be tried as an adult.
The decision will be based on a predisposition report scheduled for release on Dec. 18. A final decision is scheduled to be made on Jan. 24, 2003.
Nowdlak died from injuries sustained during an early-morning assault in Iqaluit on July 13, 2002.
