RCMP issues arrest warrant for 61-year-old suspect

Two men face charges after a pickup truck engine was stolen from the City of Iqaluit’s public works yard.
The incident occurred July 1 in the yard at 1549 Sivumugiaq St., Nunavut RCMP spokesperson Sgt. George Henrie said in an email to Nunatsiaq News.
The City of Iqaluit reported the theft of a new engine for one of its pickup trucks on July 21. Police identified the two suspects after reviewing security video footage from the yard, an RCMP news release issued Tuesday said.
Henrie didn’t specify whether the engine was returned to the city, saying that information may be used as evidence in the investigation.
Police charged the two men, aged 54 and 61, with break and enter to commit theft and mischief over $5,000.
The 54-year-old suspect is scheduled to appear in Nunavut court Aug. 28.
RCMP issued an arrest warrant for the other suspect, and in the release said investigators learned he may have left the territory.
So who is the third suspect?

We sure get all kinds of clowns that come up here, taking jobs and yet still doing shady things, I’m glad these guys got caught, such old guys still doing these kinds of things.

Who said there’s no homegrown criminals? You have to be a bit daft to think that, also there are criminals that come up here with their hard drugs and so on, majority of these larger crimes seem to come from organized criminals and just criminals that come up here to take advantage.
