Two men face drunk driving and dangerous driving charges following a crash in Resolute Bay.

RCMP issued a news release Thursday, saying police in the community received a complaint April 13 that a vehicle had crashed into a ditch.

No injuries were reported.

“Upon investigation, RCMP learned that two men had operated vehicles while impaired by alcohol,” the release said.

The news release did not say what type of vehicles the pair were operating.

The two men are scheduled to appear in court June 5 in Resolute Bay.

This type of activity has been going on for months in Resolute Bay and the flow of illegal alcohol. RCMP aren’t doing anything until a car crashes or people get hurt? We deserve better

Not saying you’re wrong. Small town for such a specific store though. Unrealistic. Better idea to change legislation to allow beer or wine to be sold from behind the counter of a general store or grocery store. For smaller places this is what is done everywhere else in canada
