Man suffers “non-life-threatening injuries”

A Cambridge Bay woman faces three criminal charges following a March 10 incident on Omilik Road in Cambridge Bay that left a man with “non-life-threatening injuries,” police said in a news release.

The injured man was taken to the health care center with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Lisa Okalitana faces a charge of assault, causing a disturbance and aggravated assault in connection with the incident.

She will appear in court at a later date, police said.

The RCMP are requesting that anyone with information about this investigation to call the Cambridge Bay detachment at 1-867-983-0123.
