Producers from Canada’s Worst Driver will visit Iqaluit in April to interview as many bad drivers as they can find.

If you’re an appalling driver and you live in Iqaluit, the producers of Canada’s Worst Driver want to hear from you.

The popular reality TV series, broadcast every Friday and Wednesday on Discovery Channel, “aims to improve road safety by rehabilitating the nation’s worst drivers, one bad driver at a time,” the show’s producers say.

But they’ve never featured a contestant from northern Canada.

To fix that, they’re visiting Iqaluit this April to interview likely prospects.

“In a desperate effort to finally find northern Canada’s worst driver, Proper Television, the company behind the show is coming to the capital city in search of Nunavut’s most abysmal motorists,” the producers said in a news release.

Submissions can be made by sending an email to driver@propertelevision.com or by phoning 1-866-598-2591.

The producers said all Iqaluit entries will be considered for their new season.

Those selected for the show will be flown to Ontario in June to take part in what they call “one of the world’s most innovative and effective driver’s training programs.”

Nominators will ride shotgun.

“Let’s face it, everyone knows a bad driver. We’re here to help. This isn’t just about a TV show. For a lot of people, driving means freedom, and driving safely might mean saving lives,” said Guy O’Sullivan, the executive producer of Canada’s Worst Driver.
