Get ready to lose an hour’s sleep: It’s that time of year when we move our clocks forward to get more daylight in the evening and less daylight in the morning.

Daylight saving time comes into effect across most of North America March 13 at 2 a.m.

That means you should move your clocks forward by one hour before you go to sleep on Saturday night, March 12.

Afterward, you’ll see an extra hour of light in the evenings.

The change affects all of Nunavut and Nunavik, with one exception — Coral Harbour.

Like Saskatchewan, Coral Harbour remains on central standard time all year long.
