You should throw them out — or return them to the store where you bought them for a refund.
Nunavut’s health department has issued warning about a food recall on Quaker Harvest brand quinoa granola bars due to contamination with the bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria symptoms include vomiting, nausea, fever, muscle aches, severe headaches and neck stiffness.
Most people do not need to see a health care provider because they get better quickly.
But high risk groups, like pregnant women, elders and people with weakened immune systems, should see a health care provider if they have these symptoms, the Government of Nunavut said.
All recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.
