(Updated Feb. 14)

Montreal police have located a young Inuk woman who had been reported missing in Montreal since last weekend.

Eva Kudluk, 14, had been missing since Sunday, Feb. 11. Montreal police posted a photo of the young woman from their Twitter account on Feb. 12.

“We fear for her safety,” police said.

Montreal police said the young woman returned home on her own late Feb. 13, unharmed. Police are no longer investigating her disappearance.

Kudluk, originally from Kangirsuk, is a resident of Montreal who has been living with a foster family.

Prior to Kudluk being located, police said the young woman was last seen in Montreal’s Sud-Ouest borough. They believe she was frequenting the city’s metro stations.
