This week the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services launched its new trilingual website at www.nrbhss.gouv.qc.ca, with information on the regional board’s mandates and programs.
Information posted on the website includes:
• a description of the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services [NRBHSS] departments along with their different programs;
• complaints section;
• contact information in the health and social services sector across the region;
• an organizational chart and listing of the members of the board of directors;
• photo galleries;
• public health alerts;
• news releases and annual reports; and,
• documentation on a variety of topics, such as infectious diseases, nutrition and out-of-region services.
Banners on the front page guide you to a choice of topics, including Inuit Tapiriit Kantami’s new suicide prevention plan.
“We are very excited to present you today with our new website, which we believe will be helpful to anyone looking for information on our organization. We decided on a concise concept and look, where information can easily be found,” said Minnie Grey, the regional board’s executive director in an Aug. 11 news release.
