Nunavut launches new territorial government website
“A significant upgrade from our previous one”
The Government of Nunavut launched its new website Sept. 18, which the GN says is “more client-focused” and offers improved search options to provide Nunavummiut with easier access to government programs, services and information.
“We are very excited to launch our new website because it is a significant upgrade from our previous one,” said Premier Eva Aariak in a GN news release.
“Nunavummiut and the public can now find the services and programs they need quickly and easily, making government information available at the touch of a button.”
This new website responds to a need identified in the Qanukkanniq Report Card, the GN said — the need for the GN to improve its communications.
The next stage of the website will incorporate the content of all GN departments into a central website that can be updated regularly to keep the information current and accurate, the GN said.
You can visit the new website at the same web address: www.gov.nu.ca.
